Scope
These terms apply to the website indiega.me, the free browser games it links to, and the VR Phobia apps. They are published by Yuki Capital, a SASU registered in France ("we"). When you get a game or app from a store (Meta Horizon Store, Steam), that store's own terms also govern the purchase and licence.
Website and browser games
- The browser games are free and need no account. They are provided as they are and may change, pause or stop at any time.
- Early builds and prototypes are unfinished: progress saved in your browser may be lost after an update.
- Please do not misuse the services (for example by attacking them, scraping them at scale or bypassing their limits).
- France Simulator is satire: its candidates are parodies and its model is not a forecast. Any resemblance to real persons is part of the satire and does not state facts about them.
VR Phobia: what it is, and is not
VR Phobia: Birds is a self-help practice tool for adults, offering gradual, repeated encounters with virtual birds at your own pace.
- It is not a medical device, a diagnosis or a treatment. Its clinical effectiveness has not been evaluated, and no result is promised.
- It does not replace advice, diagnosis or care from a doctor, psychologist or other qualified professional; ideally use it with their support.
Health and safety
- Talk to a health professional before use if your fear is intense, or if you have a heart condition, epilepsy or a history of seizures, panic attacks or a psychiatric condition, or are pregnant.
- Read and follow the health and safety warnings of your headset. Play in a clear, safe area; a seated mode is available.
- Stop at once if you feel dizzy, nauseous, faint or unwell, or if your distress becomes overwhelming. The safe place (squeeze both triggers) is always available. Take regular breaks: the app suggests stopping after 45 minutes in a day.
- VR Phobia is designed for adults and is not intended for children.
- If you are in crisis or thinking of harming yourself, contact your local emergency number.
Licence
The games, apps and site content are protected by intellectual-property law. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use them; for apps bought from a store, the store's licence terms apply. You may not resell, redistribute or decompile them beyond what the law allows. Some sounds and textures are third-party works under their own licences, credited in the apps.
Liability
The services are provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damage, or for harm arising from use against the warnings above. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights, or liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the new version is dated on this page. They are governed by French law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Your data is handled as described in the privacy policy .
